Following the mountain range that contains the monduver to simat, is at a high point with excellent views of the cave they valldigna “Mallaetes”, one of the most important archaeological sites in Spain. It was followed by several stratigraphic levels with different settlements belonging to the Upper Palaeolithic, and even closer to the surface coming in the late Neolithic or early Neolithic.
The findings in the upper parts are associated with Neolithic pottery and various other pieces of flint. The lower level can be classified in the Mesolithic and Mesolithic, which appears below the Solutrean industry, with bay leaves, arrowheads and blades. At the deepest level could locate a possible Gravettian industry. Have appeared some tiles with carved figures and paint waste.
Cultural differences between Parpalló Malladetes and raise the possibility of the existence of two contemporary cultural aspects but different, a Magdalenian in the Mesolithic I Parpalló and another in Malladetes. The materials in this cave are on display at the Museum of Prehistoric Valencia.

The cavity has an access port with a height of 10m, by clicking on a small circular atrium or 4mm in diameter. On the left is a gallery facing west, which is a narrow gallery.
In the first excavations were collected remains of flint, animal bones and human bones. Further excavation, supervised by Luis Pericot, offered performance to match that change the vision of the Paleolithic was Spanish, which is why the Parpalló achieved worldwide acclaim. Its importance is that in this cave are represented the three stages of the Upper Paleolithic prehistory and there are even speak parpallonense art with its own identity.
The findings abundant in this deposit are preserved in the Museum of Prehistory Gandia and Valencia.
