Julio Iglesias and Tom Jones come to Gandía!
Gandia is again making a huge effort to attract both Spanish and international visitors to the town, with two concerts being organised by the Town Hall – one starring Julio Iglesias on Sunday 14th August, and the other starring Tom Jones two days later, on Tuesday 16th August.
Both concerts are taking place down at Playa de Gandía – the beach and holiday area of the town – and will be in the open air, adjacent to the port area in Avinguda de la Pau. This is part of the campaign by the Town Hall to raise awareness of Gandía as a cosmopolitan destination with the slogan “Gandía, el mar donde se unen las estrellas” – translated as “Gandía – the resort where the stars gather”.
So why not join the summer visitors and come and do some stargazing down at Gandía beach? These are certain to be concerts not to be missed, and taking place in a location far more pleasant than the huge arenas they so often perform in – where they only can be seen as specs in the distance. For two intimate performances from two of the world’s best known names in the entertainment industry, Gandía is once again the place to be!
